TAIPEI, Taiwan – A delegation from Somaliland’s Ministry of Health Development has taken part in the Africa–Asia Pacific Health Innovation and Global Partnership Summit in Taipei, Taiwan, Arlaadi Media Network reports.
The delegation was led by the ministry’s Director General, Dr Ahmed Mahmoud Jama, and joined health officials, policymakers, and experts from across Africa and the Asia-Pacific region to discuss healthcare innovation, medical technology, and international cooperation.
The summit focused on strengthening partnerships in the health sector, sharing expertise, and exploring new approaches to improving healthcare systems.
Somaliland officials used the platform to highlight the territory’s efforts to expand cooperation with international partners and improve health services.
The visit comes as Somaliland continues to seek greater engagement with global health institutions and development partners to address healthcare challenges, including disease prevention, capacity building, and access to medical services.
