DHUSAMAREEB, Somalia — Somalia’s National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) Director Mahad Mohamed Salad met with political figures, traditional elders, business leaders, women and youth representatives in Dhusamareeb to discuss peace and reconciliation in Galmudug.
The meeting focused on strengthening dialogue among communities and supporting efforts to address local disputes and promote lasting stability across the federal member state.
Participants highlighted the importance of continued engagement between community leaders and state institutions, while residents credited Mahad with helping efforts to resolve communal tensions in the Balanbale area.
Community representatives also expressed support for further reconciliation meetings and pledged to contribute to initiatives aimed at strengthening peace and social cohesion in Galmudug.
